According to the marketing agency NAPI, over 5 months of the current year, sales of used trucks increased by 18.7%, sales of new ones – by 57.6%. The monthly new truck sales dynamics in the period from January 2022 to May 2023 was more even, the main failure took place in May 2022, when the market fell to 4.3 thousand trucks. In the following months, new truck sales did not fall to this level. It is interesting to note that despite the market decline in March-May last year, the monthly average figure for January 2022-May 2023 (7.9 thousand units per month) exceeds that of a prosperous 2021, when 7.7 thousand new trucks were sold per month on average. From January to May of the current year, the average monthly sales amounted to 10 thousand units, while maintaining such volumes, the Russian new truck market will exceed the results of a successful 2021
