According to the marketing agency NAPI, new trailer/semi-trailer sales increased by 15.5% over the first five months of the current year. Following results of January-May 2023, 17.1 thousand trailers and semi-trailers were sold against 14.8 thousand units in the previous year. Used trailer/semi-trailer sales grew by 33.5%, from 26.6 thousand units in January-May last year to 35.5 thousand units this year. Dropside and curtainsided trailers and semi-trailers were in the greatest demand in the used trailer market, dump trailers and semi-trailers – in the new trailer market.
