AUTOMOBILE MARKET OF RUSSIA IN JUNE AND JANUARY-JUNE 2023 PASSENGER CARS, LIGHT COMMERCIAL VEHICLES AND PICKUPS

In January-June 2023, the total sales were 441 083 vehicles, up 12.5% year-on-year*.

Sales results by type of motor vehicles:

• Passenger cars – 81 059 units in June 2023, up 147.0% YOY; 397 391 units in January-June 2023, up 13.5%. Among them electric vehicles – 1 537 units in June 2023, up 773.3% YOY; 5 555 units in January-June 2023, up 336.4% YOY.

• Light commercial vehicles including light trucks (N1 category, without pickups) and minibuses (M2 category) – 7 163 units in June 2023, up 50.7% YOY; 36 811 units in January-June 2023, down 3.6% YOY. Among them electric vehicles – 5 units in June 2023, down 16.7% YOY; 18 units in JanuaryJune 2023, down 25.0% YOY.

• Pickups – 1 393 units in June 2023, up 175.8%; 6 881 units in January-June 2023, up 90.0% YOY.
