The marketing agency NAPI (National Industrial Information Agency) has updated the «CAR RESIDUAL VALUE FORECAST» report based on the results of Q IV 2023. The graph shows the residual value forecast for some Chinese cars. The residual value was calculated based on the projected price for a new car. According to the NAPI forecast, KAIYI E5 will be the leader by residual value among the cars presented on the graph after 3 years of operation: it will retain 89.8% of the new car price. After 5 years of operation, OMODA C5 will retain the highest residual value - 83.9% of the new car price.
