According to the marketing agency NAPI, the truck population included 846 thousand tractor units as of January 1, 2025. Most of the tractor units belongs to European brands (47.5%). Chinese tractor units, which were practically not sold in Russia until 2022, could increase their share to 10.7% in just three years. The tractor unit population is not as “old” as the truck* population as a whole. Tractor units aged over 20 years account for only 34.3%. Whereas vehicles aged over 20 years account for slightly more than half of the total truck population.
