The marketing agency NAPI analyzed the dynamics of average prices for new and used cars. Over the year, from September 2024 to September 2025, the average price for new traditional Russian* cars decreased by 3.1%, while that for used** ones grew by 1.5%. At the same time, the average price for new Chinese cars increased by 4.1%, while that for used ones fell by 13.1%.
In September of the current year, the cost of new Russian cars increased by 45.6% on February 2022 and reached 1.4 million rubles. Used Russian cars appreciated less significantly, by 24.3% to 0.6 million rubles. The price increase for Chinese cars was more significant over the same period.
New cars appreciated by 58.4%: their cost reached 3.5 million rubles last month. The price for used Chinese cars soared by 159.3% and reached 2 million rubles.
