According to the marketing agency NAPI, 15.3 thousand new light commercial vehicles (LCV) were leased over the first five months of 2025,* which was a 28.8% decline on the previous year, when 21.5 thousand new LCV were leased.
New LCV sales did not fall so much - by 17.1%. As a result, the share of LCV leased over the first five months of 2025 decreased to 37.2%, while a year earlier 43.3% of new vehicles were leased. October and November 2024 were the most successful months: more than half of new light commercial vehicles were leased.
