According to the marketing agency NAPI, in January-May 2024, new Russian car sales increased by 63%. In 35 regions, the growth rate was even higher; the Dagestan Republic was the leader by this indicator (+370.3%). The Russian car share in the market fell from 37% to 32.4% over the first five months of last year. Following results of five months of 2024, the Kalmykia Republic became the leader by the share of Russian cars: Russian brands accounted for slightly more than three-quarters of the market there.
