N 11 REGIONS OF RUSSIA, MORE THAN HALF OF NEW BUSES ARE CHINESE

According to the marketing agency NAPI, 5.9 thousand new buses were sold in January-August 2025, which was a 53.7% decline on the previous year, when 12.8 thousand buses were sold. Sales of Russian vehicles fell below the market over the year, by 55.6% (to 4.5 thousand units). Sales of Chinese buses decreased slightly less - by 46.7% (to 1.3 thousand units).

Over the first eight months of the current year, the regions where Chinese brands accounted for three quarters of the total volume of new buses purchased were the Chukotka Autonomous Region, the Magadan region, and the Kemerovo region. The smallest share of Chinese vehicles can be observed in the Saratov region (2.6%), the Mari El Republic (3.6%), and the Yaroslavl region (4.1%).
